Quarry Road was the venue for the last road race of the season, and Mickey Curran took victory on the line after a closely fought sprint with Dan Purdy.  In fact, Dan looked like he had the win sown up, but just faded in the final 20 metres.  A few seconds behind the winner, the ever improving Scott Daly brought home the rest of his group.
