Three Banbridge League Champions as the XMTB XC Winter League Comes to a Close.

The final round of the 2008 XMTB Winter XC League was held last Sunday in a sunny Castle PArk, Bangor.  With Banbridge riders gathering 7 podium places in the various categories, including 3 top spots it was a successful day out for the club.

It was in the under age categories that Banbridge riders shone brightest.  Shenna McKiverigan won the under 8 category closely followed by Stuart Dunlop and Mark Buller making it a Banbridge 1, 2, 3.  Not a bad satart to the day!

In the under 10 category John Buller pipped Richard Baird by one second to take the victory and in the under 12 category it was another Banbridge victory with James Curry claiming the top spot.

It has been a rewarding winter league for the young Banbridge MTB'ers with Shenna McKiverigan, John Buller and James Curry all coming away as League Champions.  A very well done to all!
